Outsourcing Helps Prevent Overwhelm

Often times, when I tell people that I’m a ghostwriter, they are unsure of what that means. I get a lot of responses that sound like, “Hmmmm.” That’s my cue that they have no clue as to what I mean. Many think a ghostwriter helps people write books and while that is one aspect of the title, that’s not all I do.

Quite honestly, the majority of my clients pay me to write their blog posts and newsletters. Recently, I was on a Business Women’s Zoom call, when someone asked me what I do? I responded, “I’m a Ghostwriter,” she asked what that meant and I explained that while I do help people write and publish their books, I write blogs and newsletters for the majority of my clients. Her response was, “I didn’t know people didn’t write their own blogs.” Other women chimed in and admitted they didn’t know that either.

Entrepreneurs Outsource

Before they could judge the people I help, I explained that I write for many educated business people and some influencers. The majority of my clients have Master’s Degrees and Doctorates and are professionals who are influential in their specific fields. They have ideas and input regarding what they choose to discuss with their clients and how they aim to help their audiences. In their non-work time, they have children to care for, school events to attend, spouses, religious events and side hustles. What they lack is availability and sufficient time to write their own content and for that reason, they outsource the content creation to my business. I explain it this way, because often times those who (usually) don’t understand, are the ones who try to place judgment on those who need ghostwriting services. I’m so grateful that the days are gone where entrepreneurs feel they must do all the work!

I Work with Busy Bosses

My clients are busy running their lives and therefore entrust my company to produce the necessary content that compliments and promotes their businesses. Quite honestly, 65% of the content I write for my clients is for blogs and newsletters. This is simply how my business operates; I can only speak for my ghostwriting businesses. And yes, I have a lot of clients that are highly educated, but that’s not a requirement for me to work with anyone. I enjoy working with those who need my services.

So, if you know anyone who’s looking to outsource to a ghostwriter, please help them by referring them to me and my ghostwriting company. I love meeting new people, collaborating on new projects, and helping businesses grow.
